Our Chocolate Frosting Mix - Gluten Free, Vegan requires only the addition of butter and milk (or vegan equivalents) to quickly create a professional quality crusting buttercream that is great as is or as a base for customizations. Because this mix is top-9 allergen free and gluten free it is perfect for commercial use to create baked goods for a wide variety of special diets. This versatile gluten free Chocolate Buttercream Mix can easily be prepared as fully Vegan compliant by simply using vegan-friendly milk and butter equivalents to prepare. Preparation takes only minutes to create a creamy, easy to work with allergen-free crusting frosting for filling and decorating cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies/blondies, and more. The soft and fluffy texture when the chocolate buttercream mix freshly made is ideal for piping edible decorations or a base for finishing sprinkles and other edible decor.

Our bulk crusting buttercream frosting mix is easily customized by adding mix-ins as desired to the base mix for texture and decoration. BASIC PREPARATION: Per 1.5 cup batch use:
- 12 oz. Frosting Mix
- 10 TBSP unsalted butter at room temperature (for VEGAN prep option, use vegetable shortening, raw coconut oil, or soy butter)
- 3 TBSP milk of choice (for VEGAN prep option, use vegan-friendly milk of choice)
DIRECTIONS:
- Beat butter or vegan alternative with electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Add 12 oz. of Frosting Mix and milk of choice. Beat on low speed until just incorporated then increase speed to medium and beat for an additional 2 minutes to ensure fluffy texture.
- Note: Make sure to add finishing decorations like sprinkles, nonpareils, or other edible decorations to frosted items before frosting sets to a crust.
FROSTING Amount needed for basic coverage (make extra if making frosting decorations or extra-thick frosting desired):
1.5 cups frosting will cover approximately:
- (12) standard cupcakes
- (24-36) mini cupcakes
- (6-12) jumbo cupcakes
- (1-2) 6” round cake layers
- (1) 8” round cake layers
- (1) 9” round cake layers
