Our yellow natural food coloring uses turmeric to give foods rich, vibrant colors without adding taste or aroma. This water-soluble ingredient contains no artificial dyes and is best suited for cold, no-bake, or low-temperature applications. Plant-based yellow natural food coloring is easy to use and can create a full range of shades from pastel to bright depending on the acidity of ingredients, cooking method, and amount used. This water-based colorant is ideal for use in ice cream, milk-based beverages like milkshakes or smoothies, and other drinks. Because liquid yellow natural food coloring for frosting is sensitive to heat, it is the perfect colorant for making colored icing, fillings, buttercream, and decorating sugars. The exact shade of the final product is sensitive to temperature during preparation and can fade when used for high-heat applications such as baking. Liquid plant-based food dye will produce brighter, more vibrant shades in more acidic environments.

Usage: Use 1/2 to 3/4 of a percent based on total volume to start. Final color will be most vibrant when total pH is in the 4-5 range.
