Tips for Working with Grapefruit Oil:

• Grapefruit Oil is not water-soluble. It's soluble in oil, which is ideal for making chocolates and coatings.
• Standard use is 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of Grapefruit Oil per pound of coating or chocolate.
• Grapefruit Oil will solidify if stored in an environment below 59F. If it solidifies, just warm the oil until it becomes liquid again.
• Wear gloves and eye protection when handling Grapefruit Oil. It is very strong.
• Grapefruit Oil is 3 to 4 times the strength of water or alcohol-based extract. When substituting Grapefruit Oil for extract, use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of oil for 1 teaspoon of extract.
