OliveNation Nonfat Dry Milk Low Heat is made using nonfat dry milk with no additives and is processed using low heat for high solubility. This powdered ingredient is processed at low temperatures, making is perfect for use in beverages, chocolate or other flavored dairy drinks, frozen desserts, yogurt, cottage or cream cheese, chocolates, and low-temperature bakery applications. Our low heat nonfat (NFD) dried milk mixes easily with wet or dry ingredients and adds a smooth mouth feel in addition to creamy taste and texture. This easy to use powder is shelf stable and ideal for use in creamy desserts, frozen dairy applications, and beverages, including RTD dairy drinks. Bulk low heat dried milk makes an excellent emulsifier, creating creamy texture in commercial manufacture of sauces, soups, salad dressings and premixes. The excellent solubility is ideal for ice cream and beverage applications, in addition to production of cheeses, yogurt, and other dairy-based foods.

Our Nonfat Dry Milk Low Heat is made without added whey solids, and features a higher percentage of both protein (34%) and fat (1.5%) than our Milk Powder Low Heat that contains whey solids. While these two products can be used for the same purposes, customers should note that the Milk Powder Low Heat blend contains 20% protein content and 1% fat content.

For high heat bakery applications, we recommend either our Milk Powder High Heat (with whey solids) or our Nonfat Dry Milk High Heat.

Please note that our low heat milk powder is intended to replace or enhance liquid milk in recipes and manufactured products and is not recommended for reconstitution as a table-ready beverage. For an easy-to-reconstitute milk replacer, we recommend using our Instant Powdered Nonfat Milk.
