    Sorghum

Posted by Mickey on Apr 2nd 2016

I bought sorghum because I had never tried it before and it is supposed to be very healthy! I really liked it when I cooked it in water like I would cook rice. It's a lot like Israeli couscous. I tried to pop it and that was a diaster! The kernels were super tiny and 1/2 of them burned even though I was stirring them. I watch a YouTube on how to pop them. Maybe my temperature was too high. Seeing the size of the popped kernels so small makes me just want to use the sorghum for the grain. I'll use popcorn for popcorn!
